ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY: SHADOWS

This one was super fun to create and I love the little sister sticking out her tongue! If you notice the difference in body style - I am currently experimenting with body style and character creation so each one of my drawings might be a little different in the months to come.

CONCEPT: Big sisters cast the BIGGEST shadows.

Finally finished my Wake Up Henry! illustration today. Too bad that I created for last weeks Illustration Friday challenge but it was due yesterday so I missed out. Oh well - still love it so no harm done ;-)

Day 2 of creating Henry ;-) Henry himself is finally finished along with his computer mouse. Here is a quick shot of him. The next step is his chair and then his cubicle.

TITLE: Wake Up Henry!

What am I working on today? Thought I would share some progress shots as I illustrate. I know - I started pretty late but you can clearly see how the right side of my guy is about done while the left side is how the drawing started. The first image is the face sketch that I created right in illustrator. No background at all yet.

Henry is being created for full color vector but will also be made into a 3 color job for letterpress once I am finished with the full color job.

I will share again when I get the full figure done then when I start the background and finish the background.
